Aerospace Sheetmetal / Tubing Fabricator (Journeyman Lead Position) Pure Logic Industries, Inc. has open full-time position in Gilbert, AZ office:
Pure Logic Industries Inc. is a precision manufacturing company located in Gilbert, Arizona and is seeking a Journeyman Fabricator with Leadership skills. This is a great opportunity for a goal oriented, quality minded individual who welcomes new challenges and has an eye for detail. We have recently created a position for someone with strong and broad manufacturing background to head our Fabrication Cell and work closely with our Engineering staff to develop new projects, and continually improve processes on existing ones. Providing manufacturing services for over 21 years to the Aerospace, Military, Medical, Semiconductor and Commercial industries, we pride ourselves in a clean, and air conditioned, smoke free work environment. ������������ Qualifications Summary: Qualified candidate will need extensive Fabrication experience as well as some Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidate will be required to perform in a production capacity, and will be expected to Lead others as well. Additional responsibilities will include accountability for production, quality and maintenance of their assigned areas. Good organizational and Problem solving skills are a must. Candidate must have the capacity to train and mentor others in Fabrication processes.�� Qualified candidate must be fluent in setup, operation, and problem solving on fabrication equipment such as: CNC Press Brakes CNC Mandrel Tube Benders Semi-automatic Band Saw NC Hydraulic Shear Manual Mills
��������������� Related / Required Skills include: Blueprint reading Reading and Writing skills Use of precision measuring Instruments (i.e. Calipers, Height Gages, Protractors etc.)
Related Skills Preferred, but not required: Program and Operate CNC Laser (Mitsubishi) Operate CMM and generate reports (Brown & Sharpe) AS9100 Documentation Standards (Aerospace AS9100C) Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) Familiarity with 5S Initiatives
Job Description/Requirements ��������������� 1 shift position, overtime available (Business Hours Mon � Fri 5am to 5pm) Precision manufacturing production shop Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Fabricate components to tight tolerances Read and understand blueprints Consistently maintain support documentation Working knowledge of aircraft grade steel and aluminum Follow detailed work instructions Perform preventative maintenance on related equipment Accountability for work area cleanliness and work flow Adhere to Company Policies Reliability Goal Oriented Non Smokers Only
